“By far the best nail salon in St Pete, Tampa, and Bradenton. The gel manicure is long-lasting and high quality, and I appreciate how detailed the team is — I'm never disappointed.”

— Alexandra Soltys · December 2025

“I'm a very precise person when it comes to services, and every visit is exceptional. Liza, the owner, genuinely cares about her customers, and the salon is clean and cozy.”

— Katya Vess · December 2025

“I've been with Lotous Nails nearly two years and drive over an hour every three weeks. There's no better mani/pedi than a Russian mani/pedi — competitive prices, clean, friendly service, and all the techs do amazing work.”

Frequently asked.

What is a European manicure? +
European manicure (also called dry or e-file manicure) uses an electric file to gently remove dead skin and cuticles instead of soaking in water or cutting with scissors. The result is a much cleaner, longer-lasting finish with less damage to the nail.
Is the European/Russian manicure safe? +
Yes, when performed by a trained specialist. Our technician is licensed and certified in the European technique. We use high-quality, sterilized equipment and follow strict hygiene protocols for every client.
How long does a European manicure last? +
Most clients enjoy three to four weeks of wear before needing a fill or new set. Because the cuticle area is prepared so precisely, lifting and chipping are significantly reduced compared to traditional methods.
What's the difference between rubber base and hard gel? +
Rubber base is a flexible, self-leveling gel applied to the natural nail — it reinforces and evens the surface while staying thin and natural under color. Hard gel is a stronger, more rigid product used to build structure or add length, which makes it the choice for extensions. The key differences are flexibility and removal: rubber base stays soft and can be soaked off, while hard gel is rigid and must be gently filed off rather than dissolved. Both cure under a UV/LED lamp.
How long does the appointment take? +
Russian manicure: 90–120 minutes. Russian dry pedicure: 60–90 minutes. Builder gel extensions: up to 3 hours. We do not rush — the extra time is what delivers the quality you're booking for.
Do I need to do anything to prepare? +
Just arrive with clean, polish-free nails if possible. Avoid cutting your cuticles before your appointment — let us handle that with the proper technique. No soaking or prep needed.
What is your cancellation policy? +
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee. You can manage your booking online via the Square link.
Do you offer gift cards? +
Yes — gift cards are available year-round. Contact us by phone or Instagram to arrange one. They make a perfect gift for any occasion.

N° 10 / Policies

Appointment
policy.

We appreciate your commitment to punctuality and want every visit to feel seamless. Please review our appointment and late-arrival policies below before booking.

01

Late arrival

Life can be unpredictable, so we allow a 15-minute grace period. Beyond 15 minutes your appointment may be cancelled and a deposit collected. If your technician still has time to accommodate you, we will proceed — in which case both your service and a late-arrival fee will apply.

02

Late-arrival fee

Every client receives a 15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes a $10 late-arrival fee is applied, with an additional $10 for every subsequent 10 minutes of delay.

03

Cancellation & rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule without a fee, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

04

Cancellation fee

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the service price.

These policies help us maintain the quality and punctuality of our services. If you have any questions or need clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out. We look forward to giving you an exceptional experience at Lotous Nails.
